Lucky Seven--Untitled WIP

It's been a while since I've posted, so I'd like to thank Eric Krause for tagging me in this little "game" of  Lucky Seven.

So here are the rules:

1. Go to page 77 in your current manuscript
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next seven lines as they are – no cheating
4. Tag 7 other authors (Done on Facebook)

Being one of the Great Procrastinators, this manuscript is unfinished and currently less than 77 pages, so keeping with the meme, I will use page 7. Currently this Work-in-Progress is Untitled (YA):

The Marges weren’t the only nurses in the ward. There were also the Rebeccas. The Rebeccas were ridiculously attractive and far outnumbered by Marges. Rebeccas were perfect. They had wavy, dark hair pulled back into loose pony tails, while stray hairs fell softly around their flawless faces. They smiled and time stood still—scrubs looked fashionable.

I wanted to be a Rebecca—so beautiful, whimsical, and flirty—never trashy. I could imagine Marge as trashy, hanging out in some dive bar with a long skinny cigarette pinched between her yellow teeth. Violating a beer bottle in her right hand, the other rested firmly on her hip. I could picture Marge on Jerry Springer, slinging her fist, shouting, “Bitch! That’s my man!”
