Apoc-Zen Project: Starveling

Apocryphal Zenzizenzizenzic is an old Latin phrase referring to someone who has the uncanny ability to define obscure words with pinpoint accuracy.

(read about the project and accompanying contest)

Day 19:  Starveling: An advance state of hunger where you eat just about anything--no questions asked. Often times to impress your friends, or because it's funny (plus or minus the trip to the ER).

Questionable Refrigerated treasures

Confusing  Poultry

Children are born with a defense mechanism (they're cute) so they are usually spared.

We'll you've got my definition. What's yours? (leave it in the comments for your chance to win)

  1. It's a state of progression when zombies don't get enough live brains to eat and they have to resort to cannibalism among their own kind.

  2. The name given to celebs who compete to see who can be the skinniest/boniest/most fragile/most delicate of them all ...

  3. Winter. when the sun has gone and the wolves run, crying in the night.

  4. The feeling you get when you look at the moon and become suddenly hungry. Has etymological ties to the character Robin Starveling who played the Moon in "A Midsummer Nights Dream." Also tied loosely to the idea that the moon is made of cheese.

  5. Sorry, can't stop laughing at the bacon picture!!!!!

Starveling - Rod Serling's name before he changed it. or was that Sterling?
